  • For Debug Mode ,

    1.Flash xwr16xx_ccsdebug.bin from C:\ti\mmwave_sdk_02_00_00_04\packages\ti\utils\ccsdebug
    2.Remove SOP2 Jumper and reset IWR1642Boost EVM
3.source code imported and Rebuild as per User Guide (xwr16xx_pcount)
4.new Target Config created and Launch it
5.load the programs in Target config for Debug
6.Group's core, Run MSS Main.c first and then DSS main.c
    7.Start matlab GUI main_pplcount_viz.m
8.try to connect Com port (Comport Status Com port not connected )

is this steps are right ...?
  • Hi Rahul,

Is this the same issue you are experiencing in this thread?

    Regards,

    Justin

  • Hi Justin,

    It is different issue

Matlab Source code GUI(main_pplcount_viz.m) and PPLCount In debug mode not work properly together

After my Debug Mode step execution, when I Run main_pplcount_viz.m for GUI(Output window) Com Port is Not connected to the GUI

    Thanks,
    Rahul
  • Hi Rahul,

It seems you can connect to the GUI when using the pre-compiled binary. Is this correct? Please ensure that no other software is using the com ports. Uniflash, terminal windows like putty or tera-term, Matlab, and the Matlab GUI executable can all take the ports, making it impossible to connect to with other software. Please check to see if any other software can connect to the COM Ports when the device is running in debug mode.

    Regards,
    Justin
  • Hello Justin,
I already check that no other software is using the com ports.
i only face this problem when i try to connect with matlab (.mFile)
GUI .exe file connect with com port and work in debug mode properly

    Regards,
    Rahul
  • Hi Rahul,

Please check that Matlab has access to the COM Ports. It may be possible that your computer's security features are blocking this. If this is not the case, can you please send me the error information?

    Thank you,
    Justin
