TMP112: Is it possible to apply 3.3V to SCL, SDA and ADD0 when powering off (V+=0V)?

Hi Team,

Is it possible to apply 3.3V to SCL, SDA and ADD0 when powering off (V+=0V) for TMP112?
It seems no ploblem according to datasheet however TMP102 shouldn't to apply above although these devices are pin-to-pin compatible..
Could you check it just in case?

There has been an error in the datasheet for TMP112 and it is being corrected right now. The maximum voltage on the Input pins shall be ((V+) + 0.3) and < 4.

I beleive "((V+) + 0.5) and < 4" is correct.
Is my understanding correct?

Hello Yaita,

We reviewed the datasheet for the TMP112 and TMP102 devices after your thread was opened. The following will be what will be seen in the final datasheet.

	Min	Max	Units
Supply Voltage, V+	-0.5	4	V
Voltage at SCL, SDA, ADD0	-0.5	4	V
Voltage at ALERT	-0.5	((V+) +0.3V ) and <= 4	V

In summary:

When the supply voltage is 0V, it is possible to apply 3.3V to SCL, SDA and ADD0 pins. But not to the ALERT pin.

Hi Amit-san,

Did you refer I2C pins of TMP112 and TMP102 are possible to apply 3.3V when V+=0V?
I am confused..
