On the TDC1000-TDC2700EVM, want to make sure I am using the external clock properly...
Need to create a 200Khz pulse for a transducer that operates at frequency.
I attached an external waveform generator to the input on the board designated for external clock.
Moved the JP6 jumper to the EXT position
I tried the following on the control GUI:
1. On setup page of GUI set:
TDC_CLK_SOURCE_SEL to EXT_CLK
CLKFREQ(1-16MHz) to 1.600000- for 1.6MHz as source input.
On TDC1000 tab
Tried divider on 8 ( which should yield 200KHz txmtr frequency)
Turned on the continuous trigger mode and see nothing coming out of the Start pin or the buffered output analog pin.
Any suggestions as to what else I need to do to get the EVM to operate this way?
