DRV5053: Sensitivity Distribution of EA version

Part Number: DRV5053

I am using EA version. What is the standard deviation of sensitivity of this version?

  • Hello,

Thank you for using the TI forum. I am looking into this question to see if I can find any more specific information to share with you besides what is already in the datasheet. I will update you tomorrow on my progress.
  • Hello,

I do not have access to any specific distribution data, but the specification in the datasheet does follow a Gaussian distribution with a mean of 45 and tails that extend to the min/max (20,70). The min/max limits are guaranteed by final test, so no device should show behavior outside of that range.
  • Thanks for your prompt reply.

I've seen similar questions in this forum. (I thought I had posted this question as a related question.)

Its thread title is "DRV5053 sensitivity distribution" and was posted on Mar 22, 2016.

In this thread, the sensitivity distribution of different versions were answered but EA version was not answered.

I'd like to know rough value if you know.

  • Hello,

Yes, you did post this as a related question. Sorry I did not see that before. According to that observation, the typical sigma for the EA version would be ≈2mV/mT. Please keep in mind that this value derived from RE's observed data, and as he stated, "I can't make any guarantee about the distribution of units you receive though, of course."
  • Thank you so much!
