CCS/TDC1000-GASEVM: How to flash and debug custom code to TDC1000-GASEVM

Part Number:

MSP-FETCCSTUDIO

TDC1000

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TDC1000,

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

I am trying to use TDC1000-GASEVM for an application. I have tested the application through GUI. Now I want to flash code developed by me on CCS to the EVM board. What are the possible ways to flash and debug code through CCS on the EVM board?

Thanks

Nishant Sharma

  • Nishant,

We do not provide support CCS code for the TDC1000-GASEVM. Please let know if you would you have any particular issue on device or its application, we can help.
There is a debug tab in the GUI wherein you can write all the registry settings as well us update the firmware.
  • Hi Bharat,

Thanks for the reply.  In the following thread

it is written that we can flash and debug code on MSP430 avaialable at  TDC1000 EVM through JTAG at J1 connector. Could you please explain how to do so?

    Thanks

  • Nishant,

Please check online for helps regarding the flash & debug code on MSP430. You will need to install a connector at J1 and connect the JTAG MSP-FET and then flash the MSP430 with your own codes as needed. We do not provide any assistance for coding in particular.
  • Bharat,

Thanks. I populated the J1 header and is able to flash TDC1000 EVM with MSPFET debugger.
