IWR6843ISK: Boost board setup to use FT4232 in place of XDS110 for com ports

To test the 50m people counting demo using the FTDI FT4232 on the boost board as the 2 com port source in place of the XDS110 I changed the board switches per the attached doc. Is this the proper procedure? The application did not run with these settings. It could be the software is not setup to adjust the FT4232 to the proper baud rates for the com ports.

Hi,

The BSS logger is different from the DSS logger. BSS logger is routed to the 40 pin launchpad header but not the FTDI

Sorry for the confusion. I meant MSS logger gets steered through the BSS/DSS connections to move the data from the MSS Logger to the FT4232 UARTD. This works with the addition of a jumper on J6 of the carrier board and changing the Friendly Name of the com port in Windows to agree with what the people counting demo is expecting. The demo code should be re-compiled to remove the requirement to have the text "Data Port" and the text "UART" included in the virtual com port names.
