I am looking for Long range radar development kit with following requirements:

1. Real-time raw data processing

2. Able to acquire cloud point data and able to show in Rviz in ROS environment

3. Should have Ethernet and CAN interface

4. Can able to detect objects both in lab and field.

AWR1642BOOST + DCA1000EVM --> does this combination solve my problem?
I am sure about the real-time data acquisition.
Could any one comment on the real time point cloud data in Rviz ?

What range are you interested in?
For up to 150m you can use AWR1843BOOST+DCA1000EVM for capturing raw data.

For point cloud generation you can run the MRR demo available in the Automotive toolbox in the TI Resource Explorer.
It has a Matlab GUI. You would need to port it to RViz

This will allow you to capture raw data. It will not satisfy the other requirements

You will be able to capture raw data.

Processing the data offline will be your responsability.

If the size of the raw data is <1GB you will be able to use the matlab integrated in mmwave studio to post process the data.

mmwave studio is only supported in Windows. No support for RViz, no support for CAN or Ethernet
