TDC1000-TDC7200EVM: Interfacing of SMD50T21F1000R with TDC1000-TDC7200 EVM

Dear TI Team,

The SteMinc team has suggested to use SMD50T21F1000R https://www.steminc.com/PZT/en/piezo-electric-disc-50x21mm-r-1-mhz ultrasonic sensor for measuring tanks having height 90cm. However, I need the parameters to feed into the TDC1000 to make it work with this disc either in axial or radial mode. I have already referred the technical notes in which the implementation of SMD10T2R111 is explained but could not find a solution for the above stated application

Kindly do the needful so that I can move ahead with testing of the evaluation module. If needed , I am ready to provide the samples of SMD50T21F1000R.

Is the disc either in axial or radial mode that you refer above is the beam angle of the transducer?

I see this transducer that you have sent now is 1Mhz and that should normally work for distance measurement through liquids.

Yes, I have sent this transducer because it is powerful enough to measure liquid level through air medium for tank having height 90 cm. This transducer has been suggested by the SteMinc team.

I will close this thread for now, I meant the burst profile when i asked about the disc either in axial or radial mode.
