Hello

I want to use a MSP430F5529 control AWR1243 by LaunchPad. But I don't know how to port the mmwavelink API, especially the initialization of SPI.  Is there an example project using the MMWAVELINK API and the MSP430?

    Hi,

    In addition to the mmwave link example provided in the DFP release

    C:\ti\mmwave_dfp_01_02_00_01\ti\example\mmwavelink_example

    There are several threads that discuss porting the mmWavelink API to a host processor.

    There is no specific example for MSP430

    I will let this thread open for additional support from the forum

    Hi Team

    I have issues with porting mmWaveLink API from PC into MSP430.

    First, I can see the define of rlsSpiOpen and rlsSpiClose in the rl_studio.h, but I don't konw the detail of them. I think they are important . Please tell me how to open and close the SPI.

    Second, I want to know can I continue to use the original firmware BSS and MSS. Are they independent with platform?

    The last, mmWaveLink is used to communicate between the Radar Subsystem and the controlling entity which can be either Master subsystem (MSS R4F) and/or DSP subsystem (DSS C674x). But AWR1243BOOST dosn't have Master subsystem (MSS R4F) and/or DSP subsystem (DSS C674x), so mmWaveLink how to work and why we need to download MSS firmware.
