Hi all,
I'm using IWR6843AOPEVM on standalone mode. I can't get it to program. I changed the switch settings and updated the drivers for ports. I used Enhanced com port for programming.
When I tried using the AOP board with MMWaveICBOOST carrier board, i can program and use the board.
Is there any issue with my settings?
Thanks,
radha.
Hi,
Seems the SOP switch is configured incorrectly. Please see section 4.5.1 of the linked users guide.

Hi,
I followed the manual that you stated for SOP configuration. I also verified the Switch configurations through the below document. It is also the same as shown in picture. I also updated Uniflash but I still can't program.
Hi,
I got it to work in standalone mode. I used updated version of Uniflash with 6843AOP selected. Also I found that the SOP 0 and SOP 1 configuration in the above mentioned document and userguide are wrong.
The documents are misleading.
Here is the configuration from mmWave_sdk_68xx_aop_hwa_user_guide.pdf :
Here is the guidelines from http://www.ti.com/lit/ug/swru546b/swru546b.pdf:
But the actual configuration I used is: (referred from the post: https://e2e.ti.com/support/sensors/f/1023/t/830515?tisearch=e2e-sitesearch&keymatch=%25252520user%2525253A357903)
Please update the documents with right configuration.
Thanks,
radha.
