  • Hi,

Here is my understanding of the setup

    • Hardware: AWR1843BOOST EVM
    • Software: mmWave SDK 3.2 demo

Can you please follow the steps provided in

    C:\ti\mmwave_sdk_03_02_00_04\docs\mmwave_sdk_user_guide.pdf, section "3. 3. Running the Demos"

    Thank you

    Cesar

  • Also, try to verify that the COM ports are correct and operating correctly on the PC.  After starting the demo, open a terminal emulator program such as TeraTerm, and there should be two COM (UART) ports.  A "User" and "Data".  Set TeraTerm to the User port, making sure the parameters are correct and hit return. You should see the demo's command prompt appear.

  • could you please share your email address?

  • your instructions are uncleared.

could you please share your email address?

I have opened the application and configured the ports according to device manager User =COM4 Data=COM5

after that i have opened the TeraTerm and configured the COM4 via Serial port new connection.

now i have black window on TeraTerm hitting on keyboard and noting happens, seems like i cant type anything.

At this point the likely problem is either that the board has not been flashed properly, or the SOP2 jumper (or switch) is still installed.  If SOP2 is still installed, remove (or disable) it and power cycle the board. You should then see the demo prompt in TeraTerm.  If you don't, try flashing the demo's binary again.
