I'know the board i'm mentioning is obsolete but this is important to my project. I have been trying to connect this board and have tried all the method mentioned in the both the attached PDF and still not able to connect. Is it the driver's problem is it is then how to resolve? i'm using window 10 machines and

    Hello User,

    Thanks for using the TI E2E Forum. It appears that the computer is unable to recognize the device as its unable to see the USB connected in your COM port. My suggestion would be to try to use another PC or use a different cable and identify if the issue lies in the cable connection or the PC. In the GUI under serial port the COM port number should show up. This to me indicates that the PC is unable to recognize the board. These errors are usually related to either a bad USB cable or a faulty USB port

    I tried your suggestion but it still gave the same result (connect failed), but while doing so I observed that before the error windows pops-up the GUI display COM1 in serial port for second and immediately error come and a blank in observed in serial port selection. So i manual selected the com port and connected and bingo the machine has recognized the board and working properly.
