AWR1243: Chirp Config Params for Setting In VisionSDK

Hi,

I have this tool available for me online to find the chirp params to fill the VisionSDK Chirp profile Configuration. https://dev.ti.com/gallery/view/1792614/mmWaveSensingEstimator/ver/1.2.0/

However, this tool seems to assume we are using REAL ADC samples as can be seen in the attached screenshot. On the left of the screenshot are the chirp spec we desire to have while the right are the output chirp config to be used in setting the Chirp profile in VisionSDK.

Do you have a tool to figure the chirp config params for COMPLEX ADC samples? where we expect it to output # of Range FFT Bins = 256 while Doopler FFT Bins = 128?

Hi,

The samples are complex:

512 (FFT bins) x 128 (chirps) x 4(Rx antenna) x 4 (bytes - complex: 2 bytes I, 2 bytes Q) = 1024KB (Radar Cube Size)

Hi Cesar,

How can I get 256 range samples x 128 doppler bins x 4 rx antennas x 4 (byte complex sample) = 512KB for the same spec? Also, the problem remains regarding the frame period running at 2x framePeriodicity specified in the chirp profile config.
