Part Number: PGA900EVM

Hello,

the GUI for the pga900evm is not starting. it brings up a box showing "initializing..." which doesn't disappear.

system: win10 64 bit

python 2.7 installed

NI Labview Runtime 2012 SP1 installed (tried 64 and 32 bit versions)

my institute uses sophos antivirus software

EDIT: Same procedure on win7 64 bit worked! (win7 compatibility mode on win10 doesn't work...)

    Can you check in the help menu on the system that the GUI is working to see what version of the GUI you have?

    Hello Daniel,

    There may be a problem with the PGA900.ini file that was created during the installation process, or possibly there was no initialization file installed for some reason (maybe folder permissions).

    Please go to the following directory: C:\Users\Public\Documents\Texas Instruments\PGA900

    In it there should be a PGA900.ini file. If there is, rename that file to something else. When you run the GUI again it should hopefully create a new .ini file.

    If that directory does not exist, you may have some folder permissions preventing the installation from completing that portion of the process. I would make sure write access is enabled for all users and try the GUI installation again.
