Hi,

I tried to change the network from ipu1_1 to a15_0 to get better network throughput according to the manual:

Here's what I modified(C:\PROCESSOR_SDK_RADAR_03_07_00_00\vision_sdk\apps\configs\tda2xx_cascade_bios_radar\cfg.mk):

But here it says that only ipu1_0/1 is supported, which is not what the manual says.

After I changed it to a15_0, there was an error:

Does this mean that TDA2xx cannot use A15 for network transmission?

If so, how should I use the 'optimized patch' mentioned in the manual?

Hi JG

When you are using TFDTP, you do not need to move the network stack to A15_0.

Also, did you perform a clean build when you switched the NDK_PROC_TO_USE variable?

Hi,

I tried to install a new SDK, and when I changed it to A15_0, the compiler still reported an error.

If I use ipu1_0, use the 'optimized patch' mentioned in the manual,What should I do?

Hi JG,

I would suggest to use IPU1_1 and use the TFDTP protocol to get the best speeds from the network transmission. Since the TFDTP is based on DMA, IPU versus A15 should not be an issue.

We will in parallel try to reproduce the build failures you are seeing.

Hi JG,

NDK_PROC_TO_USE=a15_0

After doing the above changes you should do clean build by deleting binaries folder from the vision_sdk directory otherwise you will get a build error

rm -rf vision_sdk\binaries\
