Please provide more information as to which product family and/or device type you are inquiring about.

Are you referring to the 'X' in a device such as the LMX2615, or the 'X' suffix for some devices?

Hi 6298282,

The suffix describes the packaging carrier size, The PC16522 is no longer available, and its replacement, the NS16522, if you look at the Ordering tab of the Product page: www.ti.com/product/NS16C2552/samplebuy , you'll see the suffix 'A' is a tube of 25, 'S' is a tray of 250, and 'X' is a tape&reel of 1000 devices.

In summary, the suffix has nothing to do with the device performance or rating, only the size and type of the shipping package.
