AWR1642BOOST: CLK P Input // Need for capacitors?

Part Number: AWR1642BOOST
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AWR1642, AWR2243

Hi,

As per the attached document (TI's External Clock Requirements), it mentions choosing load capacitors to satisfy the CL Equation (Equation 1). Are these capacitors necessary or are they built in the AWR1642Boost?

I am thinking of using a signal/pattern generator to see if I can synchronize two AWR1642's together with an input of 40 MHz (necessary input frequency). This will hopefully end up turning into a system to software synchronize a network of AWR1642 clock crystals.

Thank you for your time and the the clarification!

George
