COVID-19?

I am not aware a DLP reference solution which can be used to detect COVID-19 in a CCTV camera.

The  DLP technology is used for spectral sensing. It can be used to detect  a spectrum signature. However, signal strength and noise will be an issue in such large view (CCTV) application. 

Spectral analysis using DLP will be more suitable for handheld or desk top application i.e sample is closely placed against a detector. The DLP chip-set can be used to detect  up to 2500 nm wavelength .

It can not detect Covid-19 +ve person.

If you have or can develop a Covid-19 detection method which uses NIR (900 nm to 2500 nm) spectral analysis then DLP technology can be used for this purpose.

Texas instruments manufactures and markets DLP chip-set. We also provide various evaluation platform based on this devices. Our customers  use these EVMs to develop products targeted for their application/market.

Hello Manoj,

The DLP technology is spatial light modulator. It can switch light a pixel level either to create an image , structure light patterns for scanning or wavelength selection.

It can not be used to detect temperature It is also not a camera solution/technology.
