i saw the post and currently DCA1000EVM doesn't have HIL feature any longer 

(see the post below)

Currently, DCA1000EVM doesn't have HIL feature where it can write back raw data to AWR device over LVDS interface.

then, how can i use a DMM for?

what's the role of DMM?

well i'm a hardware designer and currently move to a software designer,

and having a curiosity of DMM.
