Tool/software: Code Composer Studio
How can I read the binary file in matlab (compatible with DCA-1000 EVM), because there is no code provided specifically for AWR-1843BOOST (having an additional transmitter too). So if there is any specific code, kindly refer me towards that or if there isn't then what will be the required changes to be made in the code written for AWR-1642 with DCA-1000 EVM.
Thank You,
Sannan Ali
Hello Sannan Ali,
TI provides MATLAB code examples for processing the raw captured data. It is present in the below directory:
C:\ti\mmwave_studio_<version>\mmWaveStudio\MatlabExamples
You can modify this based on your requirements.

Ishita
The codes you reffered to are of Range FFT only. How can I find Angle FFT and then Direction of Arrival using captured Raw data ?
Sannan Ali,
You can refer to the files present at the below locations:
<download directory> \ti\mmwave_sdk_03_04_00_03\packages\ti\datapath\dpc\dpu\aoaproc
<download directory> \ti\mmwave_sdk_03_04_00_03\packages\ti\datapath\dpc\dpu\aoa2dproc

Ishita
Hello Sannan,
The files present at the mentioned directory will serve as a reference for you to estimate angle of arrival from the captured data. You could modify the files based on your configuration.
