Hello there,

I measured output of LDC1101 connected with housed wire wound sensor for position. I am observing spikes at LHR data output. Do you have any idea what may be a cause of it? It is always only one data point.

    Hello Michael, 

    It only being one point of data makes me think that it might be an issue with the coil setup. My first go to would be to double check the connection to the sensor and to make sure that there are no errors or faults occurring in the status register while this is happening. If you have any other coils you can test with that would also be beneficial to debugging this problem. 

    Let me know if this works for you. If not, can you tell me a little more about your test setup? What relevant settings are you using with the LDC1101? How are you measuring this displacement distance?
