Yes, only change the angle to steer will reproduce the issue. Please help to try.

1. Change in "mmWaveStudio\MatlabExamples\4chip_cascade_TxBF_exmaple\chirpProfile_TxBF_SMRR.m"  (chirpProfile_TxBF_SMRR.m is called in my "cascade_TxBF_dataCapture.m")

Thank you for sending the scripts. 

One detail I noticed in your initial post. Why were you using the the cascade_MIMO_signalProcessing.m script for post-processing the captured TX-BF dataset? In our mmWave Studio Cascade User Guide, Section 8.3.3.4 "Steps to process the captured data", we outline the process for using the cascade_TxBF_signalProcessing.m script for this purpose. Can you try processing the data using that flow?

Can you please verify if our documented processing flow works for you?

Any progress on reproducing this issue?

While running "cascade_MIMO_signalProcessing.m", you can step into "fcn_read_AdvFrmConfig_BF_Json.m" to see many values in adcData1Complex(:, :, :, 32:41) from slave_xx_data.bin are the same.

I think I was was able to replicate this problem on my MMWCAS-RF-EVM as well. Can you confirm that this is the same results you are getting? The scene being imaged was just my office ceiling with the EVM pointing up towards the ceiling approximately 1.5 m above it. 

Results with USRR params.anglesToSteer=[-30:2:30] (this looks as expected to me): 

Results with USRR params.anglesToSteer=[-20:1:20]: 

I am following up with our team internally and will be able to get a response sometime next week.
