I am using the DCA1000EVM and the MMWAVEICBOOST board and the IWR6843ISK board together with mmwave studio. I am unable to connect the RS232 port with error

[RadarAPI]: Error: Connection failed: Calling_ConnectTarget returned 3

My COM ports show up as expected and wireshark shows my ethernet is transferring data

My switch configurations match the connections shown here: e2e.ti.com/.../770709

HI, Tess:

I do not see any problem with your setup. Please follow the training video training.ti.com/dca1000-training-video

to make sure that you have 6 USB port in the device manager.

Hi Zigang,

I do have 6 USB ports in my device manager as expected. I also did already follow that training. Is there anything else I could try? Thank you for your help.

I only have one ethernet connection on my computer, so I am connecting the DCA1000EVM with my computer. My computer is connected to the network over wifi. Is this ok?

HI,

You should disable wifi during data capture. But I do not see that is a problem during connection stage. Do you have other radar device to try?
