HDC2022: How is the sensor's accuracy guaranteed?

Part Number: HDC2022

I have a question about the sensor’s humidity accuracy spec of +/-3% and the temperature accuracy spec of +/-0.4 degrees C.  I could not find any specific note in the data sheet stating that each sensor is functionally tested to assure that they meet those specifications from the factory.  Is there some type of report you published that indicates that each sensor is functionally tested to see that it meets these performance criteria?
Alternatively, is there a quality assurance report that indicates that these performance specifications are met by 6 sigma design practices?

  • Hi Ari,

    Welcome to the E2E forums.

All of our humidity sensors are factory tested and calibrated for various parameters including RH sensor accuracy. The HDC2022 datasheet is the only document we have that would declare anything about the HDC2022 specifications.

We do also offer the qualification summary for the HDC2022DEP which you can find via part number search here, and Texas Instruments' general quality guidelines, though neither of these specifically refer to the HDC2022 RH or temperature accuracy.

    Best Regards,
