customer ask if the accuracy can be increase if you measure the humidity with multiple sensors at the same location?

Thank you for your question.
If we consider the sensor accuracy as a normal distribution and each sensor's accuracy to be independent of each other, then you could in theory improve the overall system accuracy by averaging readings from multiple different sensors.Other error sources such as sensor hysteresis, heat from nearby ICs, and thermal response lag due to a non-ideal layout would remain, but sensor uncertainty itself could be mitigated.
TI could not warranty any results from a setup like this though, because we have not characterized for setups using multiple sensors, and our product testing is not designed around it.
