AWR1843: When do I need to flash a firmware update?

Hi, In this path ti\mmwave_sdk_03_05_00_04\firmware\radarss are located the firmware BIN to load the radar front end config for the awr1843 (as I understand), but I dont know when is necessary to flash this BIN, we have an strange bahavior when flashing the labs, some runs ok but other ones not, we dont see anything in the GUI, we have a custom board
