IWR6843: Port Human Falls Detection demo from IWR6843-ODS to IWR6843
I want to port human falls detection demo from IWR6843ODS to IWR6843. What all modifications I have to make in the firmware to do the same other than Antenna pattern.
Are you asking how to use the IWR6843ISK EVM with the fall detection demo? There are no modifications needed for this to the firmware, the antenna settings are in the cfg file. If using the ISK EVM, run the fall detection visualizer normally, but load the ISK specific .cfg file and everything should run similarly.
In general, the ODS and ISK versions of the EVM can be used interchangeably, the main difference is the antenna design which gives the boards different advantages. The ODS antenna design has more angular resolution so it can be advantageous for shorter range applications. But both boards can be used for compatible demos as the UART data stream is the same from each board.
