Dear Sir,

I want to use OPT3101/OPT3101EVM in obstacle Detection.

Can you please let me Filed of view (FOV) of OPT3101?
I am looking for a wider view for efficient detection.

The maximum distance I am looking for: 10 meters.

Hi Murthy,

OPT3101 is an analog front end that connects to the optics (LED/PD) so it does not have a FoV. You can choose optics to get wide FoV or longer range (10m). Our EVM reaches longer range but has narrow FoV. For wide FoV you will have trouble reaching long range. You can refer to our resources for info on this. Our EVM reaches longer range but has narrow FoV.

Please tell us the FOV of EVM board ?

Please send lens details and part number used in EVM board ?

My first preference if range 10M.

FOV I can compermise.
