  • Hello,

I have some thoughts. First, I'd like to know what kind of objects these are: large like cars/trucks or small like children. Second, at what kind of ranges are these objects moving at: far or short ranges?

As for your chirp requirements, I would strongly recommend to take a look at the mmWave Sensing Estimator. This is a program that will allow you to design your chirp parameters for your specific targets. You can customize your chirp parameters for the devices we offer.

It seems to me you would either want the IWR6843 (60GHz band) or IWR1843 (80GHz band), depending on your specific situation.

The DCA1000 is specifically for raw ADC data collection. Have a look at MMWAVE-STUDIO, a software package used with DCA1000 for data analysis. The DCA1000 is not required for device operation.
