AWR1642BOOST: To resolve heating Issue

Part Number: AWR1642BOOST
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AWR1642

Hi,

I'm planning to use the AWR1642 for a whole day, mounting it on a car. The sensor will be connected to a Raspberry Pi4 computer and has to be powered constantly. I can't assign a power cycle since the booting time of Raspberry Pi will be more.

Currently I'm testing the sensor under lab conditions. The sensor is heating after minimal usage. Will this affect the detection capability of the sensor over the period of time? If so how should I resolve this issue. Are there any cooling system available?

Thanks
