Hi Amit,
Thanks for using e2e form.
Could you please help us to undertsand if PFC stands for - Power Factor Correction controller and 10% threshold of what is needed?
We have TPS40211 which has a lower 260-mV reference for higher efficiency in LED drive applications. This link shows the typical application circuit using TPS40211- https://www.ti.com/document-viewer/TPS40211/datasheet#GUID-5D301495-F12A-486F-9846-BA7581427D33/TITLE-SLUS772SLUS772833

Basically my application is driving LED strip at 24 Volts constant DC ( 100 W load, 3.5 amp max current, at present we are getting 0.95 power factor ) , we have developed boost controller which gives upto 72 V DC as per applied different loads from 10 V AC input at 6.6 ampere by UC 3525A and LED output driving by FAN7171-F085 with UC 3525A (as per your suggestion now this output side UC 3525A to replace with TPS40211 ? (this will reduce my total harmonic distortion below 10% )
Hi Amit, Please help us with the Input voltage range and if it is AC/ DC. Do you want to replace UC 3525A with TPS40211?
It would be great if you can provide us with the block diagram. It is easier to understand it then.
Best regards,
Mounika
Hi Amit,
Thank you for sending the block diagram. I understand your question now.
TI has dedicated PFC controller in Boost topology which offers low iTHD across frequency and inductor value range. Please check this App note from TI which is the PFC controller step by step selection Guide. - https://www.ti.com/lit/po/sluaao8/sluaao8.pdf?ts=1744717083203&ref_url=https%253A%252F%252Fwww.google.com%252F
Please let me know if you have any further questions.
Best regards,
Mounika
SIGN BOARD 12VAC AND 2.8A AC to 6.6A ac (002).pdf based on your feedback, we have prepared this, kindly suggest if any addition or alteration is required.
Amit,
Please start another thread to we can track the communication more effectively. i will close this one.
In your new thread, please also clarify "we have developed boost controller which gives up to 72 V DC as per applied different loads from 10 V AC input at 6.6 ampere by UC 3525A and LED output driving by FAN7171-F085 with UC 3525A". Are you looking for a new solution?
Thanks,
