Hi teams,

   Good day!

   My customer use the TS12A4514/TS12A4515 , and there is confusion about the IN pin logic voltage.

  Regarding the "Electrical Characteristics for 12-V Supply " in datasheet,  Vin for " Digital Control Input (IN) " pin should be 5V ~ V+.
  But "Logic-Level Thresholds" on page 7 showed that "when V+ reaches 12 V, the level threshold is about 3 V".
  Is there a mistake in our understanding? When V+ is 12v, what is the at least input voltage for high logic?

    Hi Miao,

    The "Electrical Characteristics for 12V supply" table is correct, the logic threshold for VIH is 5V when V+ is 12V. The "Logic-Level Thresholds" on page 7 is saying that when V+ is at 12V, the threshold is now roughly 3V above the TTL (Transistor-Transistor Logic) interface standard logic threshold of 2.8V since it is now 5V. The datasheet is attempting to highlight a concern that designers should keep in mind if they use the TS12A4514/15 in a system designed around TTL interface. It is not conflicting with the "Electrical Characteristics for 12V supply" table.
