Hello,
The customer is looking for an analog switch that meets the following requirements.
Could you please recommend a suitable device?
- Switch type : SPDT, DPDT
- Supply voltage : +5V
- Control voltage : +3.3V
- Continuous current : < 500mA
- Turn on/off time : less than 2uS
Thank you.
JH
Analog switches are designed for signals, not for large loads. Even a low-resistance switch like the LMS4684 allows only 400 mA, and even then the voltage drop of 0.18 V might be too high.
There are power muxes like the TPS2116 that automatically switch between two supplies. For manual selection, there are load switches like the TPS22976.
