TS3L110: TS3L110 Ethernet Compliance Test Failed - Solutions

Part Number: TS3L110

Hello Team,

We have a problem that the compliance test can't pass due to not enough voltage amplitude. Test results are around ± 680mV against the regulation between ±950mV and 1050mV.

Our design is show below:

The voltage value at the input of the switches is about 2.5V but only one pin voltage value is 1.2V. How can I tell if it's before or after entering MUX? What could be the reasons for the low output voltage value?

Thank you in advance for your advise.

Best Regards,

  • Hello Sinem,

Can you try to send the picture one more time. For some reason my computer wont let me see it.

In addition we will probably have to take a look at the load(R and C)  connected  to mux.

To see if the voltage problem is before or after mux you can use a voltage probe on mux input and output

    Regards,

    Kameron
