Tool/software:
Hi ,
I've downloaded IBIS model from your website for this analog switch, but it doesn't work after I imported it into the sim tool. No matter how I tune the SEL/EN, and add some voltage levels at the pin a1 and b1, but nothing comes from d1. I am using Ansys for simulation.
When I excite the Input, no waveform comes out of the output and also all the models are INPUT and doesn't have any Output model.
Please help to check what goes wrong.
Thanks and regards,
Sathish Raja C
Hi Sathish,
Unfortunately I'll have the same answer as the post that is linked to this question (https://e2e.ti.com/support/switches-multiplexers-group/switches-multiplexers/f/switches-multiplexers-forum/1231109/sn3257-q1-ibis-model-for-sn3257-not-functional) as it's the same question.
We don't run simulation with Ansys and don't support it so I won't be able to support it more in depth than what the previous E2E highlighted.
In ADS there is an option in the setup to turn the channel on/off. It isn't a digital input or anything. In the options for the setup, you can hit a button to keep the switch ON or keep it OFF while simulating. Is there anything like that in Ansys?
Have you tried any of the other TI multiplexer IBIS models with ansys to see if those function properly? Just trying to determine if it's a specific model thing or if the way we create the models somehow makes them incompatible with Ansys.
Thanks,
Rami
