TMUX7212: TMUX7211 vs TMUX7212

Part Number: TMUX7212
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMUX7211, TMUX6212

Tool/software:

Reading the data sheet it's unclear which logic value input closes/opens the switches. The datasheet shows the TMUX7211 t with the switches open with inverted buffer while the TMUX7212 shows switches closed with a non-inverting. Trying to determine which device will close the switches with a logic 1 input. Could anyone clarify?

  • Hi Scott,

The logic is referring to what the SELx pin itself is seeing, not what the switch will see. I see how that can be a bit confusing.
Another thing I notice that we will have to fix on our end is that the truth table only shows TMUX7212. Sorry for that since it definitely doesn't help with clarity either.

The logic tables from the TMUX6212 are the same:

Let me know if that was clear or if you have more questions

    Thanks!

  • Rami, Thank You for the clarification
