Hi

The capacitance CNO(OFF) and CNC(OFF) is shown as 18pF (Typ) in datasheet. Is this capacitance measured on NO and NC terminal with respect to ground or between NO/NC terminal and COM pin.

Basically how this capacitance should be considered ?  between NC and NO terminal and Ground or between NC and NO terminal and COM pin ?

and Pls also clarify same for CNO(ON) and CNC(ON).

If this measurement is between NO/NC and COM terminals then what capacitance will be between NO/NC and Ground and between COM terminal and Ground in switch ON and OFF condition.

Please clarify this..

Best regards

  • Hello Ishwar,

Coff is measured on the NO and NC terminals in respect to ground. Coff is considered as the parasitic capacitance on the source side of the switch in respect to ground.

Con is the combined parasitic capacitance from the source and drain side of the switch, also in respect to ground.

    Thanks,

    Nir
