Hi,
I have a TS3USB221 EVM, instead of use common connect to upstream, can I connect to device, my application is one device connect to common, and select from charging or sync, so two sources to select from, other issues including discharge Vbus, for powering up TS3USB221, should I connect it to a external 3.3V, or pick from charging port 5V then link to on board LDO for 3.3V?
If this configuration won't work what would be a better choice, use DPDT relay?
Thanks
QM
Hello QM,
The TS3USB221 can be used in a 1:2 or 2:1 configuration. The easiest way to power the EVM is use the on board LDO. This way you can simply use VBUS from a peripheral connected to the EVM.
