TS5A3359 ON / OFF-State Leakage Current

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TS5A3359

I have a problem with the TS5A3359 ON / OFF-State Leakage Current.

The current goes up if the TS5A3359 is without light (in darkness area like a box).

If the TS5A3359 is in normal illumination condition like in the office room, the current goes down.

Current is in dark condition 10 times higher than in normal condition.

Is there a known problem with Illumination condition?

Thanks Markus

  • Hi Markus ,

I do not believe the illumination should have such a large effect on the leakage current to be 10times but I have notified the apps engineer to support you on this query .
  • Marcus,

I agree I have not seen illumination have a large effect on the leakage current. Can you provide us with more details to help debug the problem?

    1) Which package are you using?

    2) Can you provide the schematic of your test set? Show where and how you are measuring the leakage

    3) What level of leakage are you measuring?

    Thank you,
    Adam
