Does TI have a 2 channel 1:2 SPDT switch/mux with negative signaling support?

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TS3A24159, TS5A22362, TS5A22364

We have an opportunity to displace the Pericom PI3A268C.  I had recommended the TS3A24159, but the customer requires negative signal swing capability.

Do we have anything which is a replacement for this part and supports negative signaling?

  • David,

    The PI3A268C device is a 2 channel SPDT device that can support negative signaling.  I used the TI.com signal switch search tool to filter our 200+ switches for 2 channel SPDT devices that could support Input/out voltages <-1 V.  It returned the three switches below: TS5A22362, TS5A22364, TS5USBA225.  If you are looking to use this in an audio application and would like to have click and pop reduction feature I would choose the TS5A22364.

    You can see this thread for more information on the differences between the TS5A22362 and TS5A22364

    Thank you,

    Adam

  • HI Adam;

    Thank you for the recommendation. The TS5A22364 compares well to the competitive part, and I will recommend to the customer.
