Hi Experts,

Good day.

I have this case from client about older version of CCS and I am seeing related posts (i.e. LINK) that posted almost 10 years ago and the solution may not applicable already up to this date. Below is the client queries:

Code Composer Studio version 4 platinum will only activate upon installation by selecting a 30-day free trial and other options, such as license-free limited capabilities activation are no longer functional.
Code Composer Studio 5.3 will not install on Windows 7. Fails in attempting to install Eclipse.
Older version of Code Composer Studio are required for XDS510-USB2.0 and XDS100-USB2.0 emulators for use with the TMS320C6416 multicore DSP and TMDX3260C6416 test & evaluation board.

Any thoughts on this?

    Full licenses for older CCS versions are now available free of charge. Hence the licence free/limited options are no longer relevant:

    Please have the customer provide all the installation logs in: <CCSv5 INSTALL DIR>ccsv5\install_logs

    While the XDS100v2 is still supported in current versions, the last version of CCS to support XDS510 was CCS 8.3.1.

    Note that all these versions are very old and officially unsupported. We can only provide limited support for these versions.
