CCS: Error while trying to install CCS 11.1.0. Installer believes it is still in zipped directory.

Hello,

I am trying to install CCS 11.1.0 on my machine. Each time I try, the installer path check detects that the installer is "running from within the zip file".

This happens with both the unzipped offline installer, and the online installer application. 

I am using a 64-bit machine running Windows 10, and have sufficient space and administrativepermissions on the machine. I have also tried using the v11.0.0 installer, and get the same error.

I have tried changing the directory of the install files to various paths without success.

Does anyone have any idea why this might be happening?

    Hello Daniel,

    I've not seen this issue before. Can you confirm that you extracted the zip (instead of trying to run the exe inside the zip)? If so, Can you try running the exe from a DOS command window?

    I've figured out what was causing the error; the file was being run off of a networked drive, rather than on the local machine's hard drive.

    Copying the installer over fixed the issue.
