Programming TMS320F241 with XDS510USB and/or XDS510PP, with W7

Hello everyone,

I need to flash a TMS320F241 DSP. I know it is obsolete, I know there is no support anymore. I have to use a computer on Windows 7, 32 bits which has no PP, only USB.
I already have the files to upload on the DSP. I do not need to change and compile them again. i think CCS isn't needed, just its drivers.

What is my best options to achieve this today ?

I came across different solutions speaking with different people and research online.

1) Use a XDS510 USB

2) Use a XDS510 PP (with a USB to PP cable/converter ? and different OS ?)

3) Use a completly different type of devices (convert .out to .stp and use an other JTAG solution with a .bsdl file) or a different way to use my ressources.

1 : The main problem is the lack of available an reliable resellers of this device, not to say the absence. Most of the results comes from eBay, almost only so-called "TI DSP EMULATOR" when in fact BlackHawk. BlackHawk softwares doesn't seems to provide solution to link their device with TMS320F24x. Only Spectrum Digital XDS510 devices can work with TMS320F241 DSP ? What difference between XDS510USB and XDS510USB PLUS ? From this post, PLUS are not supported anymore. Is it possible to find a reliable resellers for the XDS510USB ?

2 : The main problem is to use this virtual PP with the softwares. The cable is identified by W7, but I have no idea how to configure this solution so that SDConfig can see my XDS510PP and use prg2xxx with it too.
Which drivers ? Which softwares ? (Does any USB/PP will work ? Or have to use a specific one ?) I can not add a real PP port on the computer. From what I understood from this subject, XDS510PP is not supported by W7 ?

3 : I can not find the .bsdl. From what the TI support told me, there is no .bsdl. But maybe someone used this solution already with an homemade .bsdl.

F24xx seems to be way to old for most of this softwares solutions, but I have to work on a computer with W7 and no real PP.
