Content Assist not working

Since several days my Content Assist does not work.

Pressing CTRL + SPACE does not autocomplete functions/variables. Only preprocessor directives are completed. Worst my templates are not autocompleted.

I tried unsuccessfull:

- cleaning workspace

- changing CCS version

- formating harddrive and reinstall CCS

I'm using CCSv5.1M4 and tried also: CCSv4.0, CCSv5.1M3

Does anyone have a tip?

There is a related post on the forum where different versions of XDCtools on the same installation of CCS may cause such problems. Could you please check this post and see if the information there applies to your case?

Thanks, this works.

I uninstalled again all CCSv5 versions and XDCTools and deleted all occurancies in program files folder. After that I reinstalled CCSv5.1M5 and auto complete is working.

Still having a problem:

auto completion only works for global variables/types/functions, but no static function is shown in proposal list.

Any suggestions?

solved:

function was double implemented, but only one prototype, what makes the auto completion dizzy.
