CODECOMPOSER: Problem with installing Indent Guide

Hello Ti,

I updated the CCS from 10 to the newest version 12.0. I like to use the Tool Indent Guide (from eclipse marketplace), it always worked great, but now I can't install it anymore.

Do you have an idea what that could be and how so solve this?

I tried a whole day to get it work, but no chance.

    Hi Daniel,

    It looks like you are missing some dependency. I tried installing that plug-in and I have issues also with both CCS 12.2 and CCS 10.4. You mentioned it was working with CCS 10 for you. What exact version of CCS 10? And what version of Indent Guide was installed with CCS 10 at the time?

    Hello Ki,

    ok, there must be another problem. I also tried on my Laptop with CCSv10 to install the Indent Guide but same problem like in CCSv12.

    The time I installed Indent Guide was about a year ago I think, there was no problems, there must be a problem with the current release of Indent Guide.

    It isn’t much important to me but I liked this feature, doesn’t matter.

    What is interesting, I downloaded the newest Eclipse and here I can install it. Maybe it works again with a next release of CCS.

    You must have installed an older version of Indent Guide which was compatible with the Eclipse version that CCS 10 was based on.

    When looking at the requirements for the current version of Indent Guide:

    CCS 12.2.0 is based off Eclipse 4.23. So it should theoretically work. But we may be missing something. Since we don't officially guarantee plugin compatibility, I'm not sure. 

    You can try using an older version of Indent Guide. You may have better luck with that version.

    Thank you Ki for your answer, YOU ARE A GENIUS, it worked in 3 min, yesterday I played the whole day -.- !! I found the older version here https://www.certiv.net/updates/net.certiv.indentguide.site/bak/ and now it works again.

    Just click on Help, install new software, choose archive file and install it. If someone needs it, here is the file:
    Neuer Ordner.zip
