In CCS5.0.3, I add a global variable with type of "unsigned char" to expression watch window. But I can't find where to change the format for this variable to "int"? In CCS4, there is a format column which to choose the format. But no corresponding column can be found in CCS5.0.3. Does someone tell me how to do it? Thanks a lot.

The number format can be changed as shown in the screenshot below.

Is it possible to add a "format" column in expression watch window to show what's the current format of the variable in the future CCS5 release? Please deliver this request to the design team. Thanks.

This is already addressed in CCS 5.1. The value column displays the format of the number in paranthesis. See below screenshot.
