CODECOMPOSER: .syscfg GUI not showing

Tool/software:

I am using data_stream_UART_over_BLE example to program LP-EM-CC2340R5 dev board. I had successfully run the program and was also able to make modifications in default configuration. However, the GUI interface of .syscfg has suddenly stopped showing in the IDE. I have tried closing and opening the file and restarting the IDE, but I am still getting a blank window.

    Hello Mrinal Mani,

    I hope you are doing well! One item that we could try is CCS Theia with CC2340R5 8.10 SDK since it's an alternative to CCS. 

    To address the GUI issue on CCS I first want to ask what CCS version are you using? 

    Sometimes it is useful to uninstall CCS and re-install it to see if that improves its performance. (Back up your files just in case!)

    I am using Version: 12.7.0.00007.
    I only solution I found was to restart my PC, though that is very inconvenient. I have close all working programs and restart everything.

    This problem happens frequently. That is why I wanted to know if there are any steps to get the .syscfg GUI back.

    If not, I will try to get started with CCS Theia.

    Hello Mrinal Mani,

    I know you could right click and open with SysConfig though that my still not show anything in your case. Did you install any extra tools or anything else with CCS 12.7 or is this close to default? 

    I am not currently aware of steps needed to address this issue unfortunately.

    We also have CCS Cloud as well, though it is a online/web browser version of CCS so that may not work for everyone.
