Tool/software:

I am porting an old project from CCS3.3 to a more recent CCS12.7 I believe i have the project building but I can not find the target
processor a DSP TMS320VC5502 in the list of devices when I am creating a config.ccxml file. How can I get this port added to the list or
which part can I use as a substitute part that will work. I am using the XDS200 USB debug probe.

    The CCS Eclipse based IDE has been deprecated in support. Our new CCS Theia based IDE will not support C55x. Hence there are no plans to update the list of C55x devices available in CCS.

    I believe you may be able to use the TMS320C5502 option.
