CODECOMPOSER: Error with Auto Update

Hi Keith,

The error looks similar to an earlier reported issue:

That one was for updating from CCS Theia 1.5 to CCS 20. Are you trying to update from CCS 20.0.0 to CCS 20.0.1?

Did you do a full install of CCS 20.0.0? Or is it the result of an incremental update from CCS Theia 1.x?

I downloaded the software and installed it. I have older CCS's and Theia, but did not update through them.

Yup, that did it. I navigated to the CCS 20 executable, right clicked and ran as administrator. It upgraded without incident.

I am now trying to upgrade from 20.0.1.4 to 20.0.2.5. Indeed, I must run Theia as admin for this. Update is able to download. However, after Theia shuts down and begins installing the update, it gives an error "Unable to copy file" halfway thru and terminates. Due to company policy, the admin account I'm using is different from my normal user account. Please help!

We have an update on this issue. On some environments, UAC is requiring user input to continue execution of the update executable. Unfortunately this prompt is hidden when called by the CCS update manager. We are working on a fix. 

In the meantime, any users experiencing update issues should simply do a full install. Sorry for the inconvenience. 

I ran CCS as admin and it updated successfully.
