CODECOMPOSER: The generated files view and board view are always opened in SysConfig using CCS20.1.0

CCS version: 20.1.0

SysConfig version: 1.22.0

When a .syscfg file is opened in CCS20.1.0, the problem view, generated files view and board view are always opened by default in SysConfig, at least with the Simplelink SDK examples, that is not the case in CCS12.8.1. How do I stop these views to be opened by default?

Thank you for reporting the difference in behaviour. We will investigate and let you know if this is expected with the new SysConfig version that is included in CCS 20.1.0.

Hello Shuyang,

This was an explicit change in behaviour as many people missed that there is additional information available when using SysConfig. However, it is good feedback to allow this configurability. I have added a ticket to allow user control over this setting. Below is the ID.

[EXT_EP-12274] Enable a preference to allow user to control whether 3rd (right most pane) is open by default - Software Issue Report (SIR)
